Love being by the pool while helping others stay safe? Play Academy is looking for two friendly, dependable, and actively certified lifeguards to provide coverage for a fun community event at Bridgetown at the Plantation!
Date: Sunday, August 16, 2026
Shift: 12:30 PM–4:30 PM
Event Hours: 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17 per hour
Total Pay: $68 per lifeguard

You and another certified lifeguard will provide coverage for the community’s main pool and lap pool throughout the event. Responsibilities include:
Maintaining continuous water-safety surveillance
Remaining prepared to respond quickly in an emergency
Providing friendly and professional assistance to residents
Supporting a safe, organized, and enjoyable pool environment
Arriving early for setup and remaining through post-event coverage
Spend the afternoon poolside, earn some extra income, and help create a safe and memorable community event!

Must hold an active lifeguard certification
Must be available for the full shift from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Must be attentive, responsible, and comfortable interacting with community residents
Must maintain a professional and positive attitude throughout the event
