  • Oversee regional agronomy activities, including seller training, product demonstrations, customer support, field trials, and performance data generation.
  • Advance agronomic strategy that supports revenue growth, strengthens distribution relationships, and expands grower adoption.
  • Contribute to commercial planning through product placement guidance, marketing input, distribution development, and coordinated field support.
  • Develop field data summaries and sales enablement materials that turn regional results into clear product positioning and customer adoption resources.
  • Align with Regional Sales Lead and Distribution Strategy on regional priorities, resource focus, and market development needs.
  • Use digital tools, precision software, remote sensing, and aerial imagery to evaluate product performance and support grower success.

Competencies

Knowledge & Application

  • Demonstrates advanced expertise in agronomy, crop production systems, fertility, nitrogen management, and agricultural inputs within the assigned geography.
  • Applies technical depth and commercial awareness to evaluate opportunities, guide decisions, and support regionally relevant outcomes.
  • Connects scientific understanding with business context to communicate clear, credible recommendations to varied audiences.
  • Uses data, research, and technology fluency to strengthen decision quality and reinforce confidence in agronomic recommendations.
  • Maintains subject-matter credibility and keeps knowledge current as products, practices, market needs, and regional conditions evolve.

Complexity & Problem Solving

  • Integrates multiple inputs to diagnose ambiguous agronomic, customer, and commercial issues and determine practical paths forward.
  • Balances scientific rigor, customer value, operational feasibility, and business objectives when evaluating options and recommendations.
  • Uses structured analysis to identify patterns, root causes, risks, and opportunities that may affect regional outcomes.
  • Makes sound decisions amid changing conditions, incomplete information, and competing priorities.
  • Anticipates emerging issues and adapts approach proactively to maintain progress and reduce execution risk.

Discretion & Impact

  • Operates with broad discretion in setting priorities, allocating effort, and shaping decisions that affect regional performance.
  • Exercises independent judgment in balancing field needs, team capacity, customer expectations, and commercial priorities.
  • Drives accountability and follow-through on decisions, priorities, and commitments that affect business results.
  • Influences decisions beyond direct authority by bringing credible insight, sound judgment, and region-specific perspective.
  • Builds capability in others through clear expectations, feedback, coaching, and development-oriented leadership.

Collaboration & Interaction

  • Builds trust with internal and external stakeholders by communicating clearly, following through, and adapting messages to audience needs.
  • Leads through influence, active listening, practical guidance, and timely feedback that supports alignment and performance.
  • Engages diverse audiences with credibility, confidence, and professionalism in both technical and commercial discussions.
  • Facilitates productive dialogue, resolves misalignment, and helps stakeholders move from discussion to action.
  • Collaborates across functions to align perspectives, reduce friction, and support coordinated execution.
