    resources
and employment opportunities that align with their interests and career goals.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for program participants.
  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking participant and alumni outcomes including educational attainment, job placement and other indicators of success.
  • Support ongoing communication and engagement with program alumni.
  • Identify opportunities for alumni to serve as mentors, volunteers, ambassadors, and guest speakers.
  • Research workforce trends and align efforts with regional, state, and national trends.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with
community organizations, employers, and educational institutions.
  • Collaborate with regional education institutions, environmental organizations
and workforce development partners to strengthen green career pathways for youth.
  • Assist with grant reporting, program evaluation and presentations as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree or some college coursework in a related field is a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with youth and young adults from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge and interest in environmental science, ecology, conservation, sustainability, renewable energy, green buildings, urban forestry, wildlife biology.
  • Experience building partnerships with non-profits, schools, colleges, universities, and employers.
  • Knowledge of environmental career pathways and post-secondary educational opportunities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
