Maintain safe and efficient traffic flow through active work zones to protect workers and the public. Coordinate traffic movement using signaling devices and two-way radios while following project-specific control plans.
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to work outdoors for long periods. Ability to pass background screenings and drug tests is required depending on the project.
JMAC Group, LLC is seeking reliable and safety-oriented Flaggers to support roadway, railroad, airport, and infrastructure projects. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safe and efficient traffic flow through active work zones.
Flaggers are responsible for protecting workers, equipment operators, and the public by following established traffic control procedures and maintaining clear communication on job sites.
We are willing to train and certify the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety.
Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic through active work zones
Use two-way radios to coordinate traffic movement and communicate with crew members
Hold and properly display signaling devices (STOP/SLOW paddles, flags, etc.)
Set up and maintain cones, barricades, and traffic control devices
Follow project-specific traffic control plans
Monitor site conditions to ensure safety compliance
Maintain professional conduct while representing the company
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to operate and communicate using a two-way radio
Must be able to hold and properly use signaling devices
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong communication skills
Ability to pass background screening and drug testing (project dependent)
