The Buyer is responsible for managing purchase orders, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability. They also handle supplier issues, support logistics, and drive process improvements through Lean and Kaizen activities.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of purchasing experience in an OEM or manufacturing environment and proficiency with ERP systems. A 2-year business education is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.

We have an opportunity for a Buyer to join our in person San Luis Obispo, CA team. You will be responsible for purchasing items to support production and business needs. The Buyer will manage activities to procure items according to the best delivery schedule while maintaining target inventory levels. The Buyer will build and maintain vendor relationships, as well as analyze and resolve issues related to procurement, accounting, and quality. Additionally, the Buyer is responsible for supporting program management, production, inventory control, and other site functions in all procurement-related activities.
The hourly pay for this role is: $30.00 -$44.00/hr. DOE.
Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
