Responsible for producing and serving meals in retail, patient services, or production environments within the Nutrition Services Department. Duties include collecting soiled dishes, interacting with unit staff, and maintaining quality and infection prevention standards.
No formal education or experience is required, but candidates must possess or obtain an ANSI/TXDSHS food handler certificate within 60 days. Applicants must be able to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic computer entries.

Certification/Registration/Licensure
Must have a certificate of completion of a food handler training course accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and/or the Texas Department of State Health Services (TXDSHS), or must obtain one within sixty (60) days of placement in the role.
