The Sales Tax Accountant manages all areas of sales tax compliance, reporting, and return filings for US entities. Key duties include performing account reconciliations, maintaining exemption certificates, and resolving tax authority inquiries.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 5 years of sales tax compliance experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Infor ERP or Avalara is preferred.
The Sales Tax Accountant will be involved in all areas of sales tax compliance and reporting to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in an accurate and timely fashion. This position will serve as an internal resource by quantifying, analysing and reporting on transaction-based taxes, and provide support for all sales tax obligations of our US entities.
Compensation:
In accordance with Massachusetts law, the expected salary for this part-time position is $30/hr . The actual compensation will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience and other factors permitted by law.
