This role is designed for early-career consultants who want to build exceptional consulting skills while working at the intersection of business performance and social impact. As part of the Culture and Business Transformation team within Client Advisory Services, you'll help leading companies build ownership cultures that strengthen business performance through change leadership, employee engagement, and organizational transformation.
In this role, you'll be at the center of our client engagements, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling deliverables. You'll structure storylines, build polished presentations, synthesize stakeholder input, and leverage AI to enhance the day-to-day execution of client work. Along the way, you'll develop the core consulting capabilities that underpin a successful career, including analytical thinking, structured communication, high-quality execution, and collaborative problem solving.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop client presentations and workshop materials based on guidance from senior team members, taking storylines from outline to polished, client-ready pages with clear throughlines and supporting evidence.
- Synthesize research, interviews, and client data into structured insights that inform engagement recommendations and program design.
- Support the day-to-day execution of client engagements, including preparing workshops and executive sessions, tracking follow-ups, and coordinating inputs across stakeholders.
- Leverage AI tools to efficiently produce and iterate on deliverables, incorporating feedback from senior team members, clients, and partners while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Prioritize multiple projects, organize workflows, and ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Contribute to the tools, templates, and playbooks that strengthen and scale the Culture and Business Transformation practice.
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. preferred.
- 1–3 years of consulting or other related professional experience; management consulting experience strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to efficiently create PowerPoint presentations with clear throughlines and supporting data.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex topics for senior audiences.
- Experience or interest in organizational culture, change management, or employee engagement work.
- Demonstrated experience with, and willingness to continue learning, AI tools to accelerate and improve the quality of professional work.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Highly responsive and collaborative team player who actively seeks and applies feedback.
- Proven time management and multitasking abilities across multiple concurrent deliverables and tight timelines.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving, startup-style nonprofit environment.
- Passion for social justice and the mission of Ownership Works; interest in becoming a subject matter expert in employee ownership.

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation that reflects the impact of this role and is informed by factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. For candidates based in New York City, the expected salary is $100,000 plus an annual discretionary, performance-based bonus.
