Expected pay for this position is $18.98 - $22.34/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for assisting Pharmacists in processing provider medication orders utilizing prescribed procedures under the supervision of a Pharmacist. Work involves standing, lifting and walking continually while in the process of performing

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED, At least 18 years of age Experience: N/A Licensure/ Certification: PHTC-Pharmacy Tech, PHCT2 - Pharmacy Tech Certification, Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) validated by PTCB or National Healthcareer Certification, or Active Pharmacy student with Pharmacy Technician (PHTC) student license Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: N/A Experience: 1 year pharmacy experience Licensure/ Certification: N/A Other Skills/ Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical terminology. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development as well as the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Demonstrates ability to perform and apply arithmetic calculations. Intermediate computer skills.
