The Registered Nurse provides high-level care coordination and health restoration within the Cardiothoracic Unit. Responsibilities include assessing physical symptoms, providing psychological support to patients and families, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Illinois or Michigan and a current AHA BLS certification. A BSN and prior experience in a healthcare environment are preferred.

Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

$9,000 with a 1 year work commitment (new graduates and external candidates)
Limited Weekend Requirements
*Self-scheduled per 6 week plotter
· 0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts
· 4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts
· 10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts
· 15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
