The EVS Tech I is responsible for performing routine cleaning and disinfection tasks to maintain a healthy and organized environment. They must ensure timely room cleaning to support hospital patient throughput and discharge flow.
Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with six months of experience in janitorial or environmental services.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The EVS Tech I, in accordance with standards of quality, is an essential contributor to promoting a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention. The EVS Tech I is responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, while ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors. This role is also responsible for ensuring timely room cleans, especially as it relates to hospital patient throughput and responds favorably to requests to adjust daily workflow or area assignment to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.
