The Registered Nurse protects, promotes, and restores health by practicing at the highest level of licensure within the Cardio-Thoracic unit. They collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to provide care coordination and support for patients and their families.
Candidates must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Illinois or Michigan and possess an American Heart Association BLS certification. A BSN is preferred, along with basic proficiency in Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft applications.

Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.
SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE!
$11,250 with a 1 year work commitment (new graduates and external candidates)
STACKABLE PAY INCENTIVES:
This position includes a night shift differential of $4.00/hr, and a weekend differential of $3.25/hr.
LIMITED WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS:
*Self-scheduled per 6 week plotter
· 0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts
· 4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts
· 10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts
· 15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts

POSITION SUMMARY:
Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.
