POSITION SUMMARY

The Materials and Fulfillment Coordinator will function under the guidance of the Operations Manager and in accordance with established standard operating procedures. They will be responsible for supporting material receipt, inventory management, and order fulfillment at the cGMP manufacturing facility.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions:

  • Perform material receipt intake for all critical materials according to established OrganaBio procedures.
  • Execute the pack-out of temperature-sensitive materials/products and facilitate pickup by approved transport vendors.
  • Monitor material supply areas within the laboratory and facilities departments.
  • Alert management when material inventory levels fall below established minimums or usage merits new orders.
  • Assist in the induction of new materials and work cross-functionally to support vendor onboarding.
  • Update product inventory databases and order fulfillment logs contemporaneously and accurately.
  • Utilize enterprise systems (ERP) for tracking materials and products.
  • Perform occasional transfer of products and materials to specified destinations, completing all chain of custody documentation.
  • Complete appropriate training programs related to material transport and staff safety.
  • Professionally engage with staff and vendors to ensure the workplace is safe and efficient.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies:

  • Teamwork - Our operations, testing and systems are complex and multifaceted, so we expect you to work well with our current team members - from those in the lab to those in administration - to ensure we work most cohesively 
  • Willingness to Learn - While we expect you’ll come in with a variety of basic skills, we ask that you also come with eagerness to learn more  
  • Demonstrates organizational and time management skills

 

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: Experience in materials management in a GMP/GLP environment is desired. Experience with shipment of medical/clinical materials is highly encouraged.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Products. Experience with Data Ninja, Oracle NetSuite, or similar ERP software is highly recommended.

·       Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.
