The HR Officer manages day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, pensions, and insurance across multiple countries. The role also focuses on employee relations, legal compliance, recruitment, and onboarding to support the company's strategic goals.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field and 0-3 years of international HR experience. Fluency in both Dutch and English, along with knowledge of Dutch employment law and the social tax system, is required.
The HR Officer is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the Human Resources department within Opple Europe. This position is designed to support a dynamic and growing organization. The HR Officer will work closely with the HR team and other departments to foster a smooth HR operations and drive HR initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.
The HR Officer will manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department.
This role involves a wide range of HR tasks, including payroll management, pension and insurances, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee payroll processes and coordinate with payroll agencies in all different countries to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
Administer the employee pension plans and insurance programs.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide guidance to employees on pension and insurance matters.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
Address employee relations issues, such as grievances and disciplinary actions, in a fair and consistent manner.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation.
Maintain and manage HR data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with data protection regulations.
Manage recruitment tasks, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Bachelor’s degree in HR or relevant field
0-3 years HR experiences in an international setting
Good knowledge of HR operations and Dutch employment law, as well as the (social) Tax system
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Do you have experience with NMBRS? We are happy about that!
Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal
Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness
Have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
Ability to solve problems
Ability to work independently and operate well in a team
You are a people person with a hands-on mentality
