The Dental Assistant supports dentists and hygienists by providing chair-side assistance, preparing dental materials, and maintaining clinical equipment. They are also responsible for patient intake, documenting medical history in the EHR, and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a willingness to provide exceptional patient care. Completion of a recognized dental assisting program and prior experience are preferred but not required as training is provided.
