The Electrical Engineering Technician will build and assemble prototype electrical systems, including wire harnesses and control panels, while partnering with engineers to test and diagnose components. They are also responsible for managing prototype inventory and supporting workspace organization initiatives like 5S and Kanban.
Candidates must possess an associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in electrical technology or a related field. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, using testing equipment, and basic computer applications is required.

If you enjoy building electrical systems and working hands-on with new technology, this role is for you. As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you'll work alongside engineers to build prototype electrical systems, support testing activities, and help bring new products from concept to reality. This is an opportunity to expand your technical skills while supporting innovative cooling and enclosure solutions.
This is a full time, hourly position and you will work on-site 5 days/week in Anoka, MN, with core hours being from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
