The Nuna Group of Companies is now accepting resumes for an experienced Rock Truck Driverswith large earthworks construction / mining project experience.
We offer:
3 week on / 3 week off rotations; 12-hour days
Fly in / Fly out
Competitive hourly rate with Overtime pay (1.5x)
Commercial flights and accommodations are covered
Responsibilities
Some Key Responsibilities:
Conducts pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities.
Maintains equipment in good operating condition, reporting, and logging maintenance requirements or concerns.
Complete production reporting and other documentation as required.
Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members.
Operate other heavy equipment if required.
Follow all site, company and client specific safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating Articulated Rock Trucksin a road building, mining, and/or industrial setting.
Previous experience with rotational schedules and remote camp life.
Incorporates HS&E concepts into work activities and demonstrates concern for others health & safety (co-workers, clients, and sub trades).
Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with good safety awareness.
Experience with radio communications and protocols.
