The anesthesiologist will provide a full scope of practice, including patient care within the Eastern Zone and participation in on-call rotations. They will report to the Zone Department Head of Anesthesia and adhere to the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority.
Candidates must hold Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification and be eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia. Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is also required.
Cape Breton Regional Hospital (CBRH), located in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is seeking an Anesthesiologist to provide locum coverage this Fall (September and October) and January, for early winter. This locum position is available immediately for the right candidate who has Royal College Canada certification and eligible for full-license with College of Physician Surgeons Nova Scotia. The successful applicant will be part of a team of 7 Anesthesiologist serving the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and the surrounding communities with a catchment area of over 150,000.
