The research associate will support daily purification requests for small molecules using various techniques like HPLC, SFC, and flash chromatography. They will also perform post-purification treatments and maintain close communication with synthetic chemists to meet project needs.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry with relevant experience in purification technologies. Strong analytical skills, a rigorous mindset, and the ability to communicate results effectively are required.
Within a Novalix insourcing team based in a pharmaceutical company, under the responsibility of a team leader, your mission will mainly consist in:
· Supporting daily purification requests of small molecules coming from the synthetic chemists on various scale (from milligrams to several hundred grams).
· Selecting the appropriate purification method and equipment based on sample analysis.
· Carrying out molecules purification using a large set of achiral and chiral techniques: preparative HPLC/flash chromatography (normal and reverse phase) and SFC.
· Performing post-purification treatments (evaporation, freeze-drying) and products analyses (LCMS).
· Working in close interaction with the synthetic chemists to understand and meet their needs.
· Reporting work both orally and in writing.
Profile
· Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with relevant experience.
· Strong interest in analytical chemistry and purification technologies.
· Passion for science, sense of responsibility, and team-oriented mindset.
· Organized, rigorous, and able to communicate results effectively.
This position is offered as a fixed-term contract (CDD) of one year.
