Responsible for various concrete finishing tasks including waterproofing, grouting, cutting, coring, and slab installation for heavy construction projects. The role also involves building forms, operating equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requires 3-5 years of experience in dry concrete finishing within the heavy construction industry and knowledge of grout mixes. Must possess valid WHMIS, Elevated/Aerial Work Platform, and Working at Heights certificates.

Position Summary
Under the direction of Civil Superintendent the Concrete Finisher is responsible for waterproofing, grouting, finishing, cutting & coring concrete, floor pouring, stain removal and cleaning, curing concrete, floor leveling, finishing, high tolerance finishing and slab installation. This position requires knowledge of the heavy construction industry. Specifically the practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, quality control and safety associated with this industry. The Cement Finisher must be proficient at the following tasks: concrete finishing for heavy construction concrete products.
