We are now hiring a stellar colleague to join our team to support us in bringing our marketing and communication activities to the next level.

The role is versatile and we are looking for someone who is comfortable in rolling up their sleeves and jumping across various tasks and responsibilities (e.g. content, copy, messaging prep, event management etc). You will support and drive marketing and comms related activities to strengthen Norrsken VC’s brand as one of Europe’s leading early-stage VC funds.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Communications and PR:
  Support and drive public relations efforts by planning, creating and distributing content for Norrsken VC and our stellar portfolio companies. You will also make sure that our spokespersons are always well prepared, in the right context and help create messaging that stands out.

• Digital channels:
  Support all our digital comms and presence, from the Norrsken VC brand to individual accounts. Proactively think about how to drive our digital presence with content. You need to have a knack for good copywriting, short snippets as well as longer pieces.

• Events:
  Lock in speaking opportunities for the team at the industry’s top events. An important part of the role will also be event management, playing a key role in events we do to build our presence and brand in the key markets. We want to do things differently to make a mark, so we want you to think outside the box and be creative..

• Support our portfolio companies:
  Our most important customers are the founders we back. Part of the role will be supporting our portfolio companies with marketing, PR, communications and how to get noticed. It is not a requirement, but a big plus if you also have experience from marketing & comms teams at a tech start-up which you can share with our companies.

Who we are looking for

Someone who wants to make the world a better place and believes that entrepreneurship and strong business models are great driving forces for this. Someone:

• With excellent written and spoken English skills, with an ability to write punchy and engaging copy that makes your audience stop and take notice.

• With strong project management skills, with experience of effectively managing multiple work streams spanning multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

• With a strategic mindset, with the ability to manage complexity and combine strategic & analytical thinking with a pragmatic approach.

• Who’s curious and quick learner, who loves to stay up to date on societal development to maximize Norrsken VC’s relevance and additionality.

• That has around 5 years of professional experience from marketing, communications, PR or similar. Maybe you have a similar role today at a tech startup or VC?

Competitive salary in line with market salary.
