Perform day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical data center infrastructure including electrical and HVAC systems. Ensure facility reliability by adhering to SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs while managing preventive maintenance and contractor coordination.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 5 years of experience in critical data center operations engineering. Proficiency with Building Automation Systems and CFC certification for refrigerant handling is preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Critical Data Center Building Engineer performs the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Data Center facilities and equipment to keep building assets at the highest degree of care, value and reliability. The position holder must understand base building and critical environment infrastructure and have experience in performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on all base building and critical system equipment, including electrical, HVAC, fire/life safety, security and emergency back-up systems.
