Produce morning and evening newscasts and gather information for news stories across television and digital platforms. Direct anchors, reporters, photographers, and directors while managing live breaking news under deadline pressure.
Requires a valid driver's license, computer literacy, and at least 2 years of television newsroom experience. A 4-year college degree and 2 years of news producing experience are preferred.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS ESSENTIAL TO THE JOB:
Ability to produce evening and morning newscasts.
Ability to write news stories.
Ability to read information sources.
Ability to handle live breaking news.
Ability to handle deadline pressure.
Ability to give directions to anchors, reporters, photographers, and directors.
Typical shift would be 11pm to 4am.
Valid drivers license
Computer literate
2 years television newsroom experience
2 years of news producing experience preferred
4-year college degree preferred
Work under extreme pressure, deadlines, and adverse weather conditions.
