About the opportunity
The WHS Advisor will play a key role in ensuring safety and compliance across a portfolio of large residential construction projects spanning from the Bundaberg region to the Queensland/NSW border.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll drive compliance, support leaders, and help create safer workplaces across multiple sites.
• Travel frequently throughout the region to oversee residential construction projects
• Conduct regular, hands-on WHS audits to ensure safety standards and compliance are maintained
• Identify and address any emerging safety or compliance issues on-site in a timely manner
• Lead and coordinate incident management, investigations, and corrective actions
• Deliver practical WHS training to site teams to improve knowledge and safe work practices
• Support site leaders with onboarding of employees and contractors, ensuring they understand WHS requirements
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and regulatory authorities

About you
You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
• Certificate IV in WHS
• Proven experience in a WHS role, ideally within construction or a similar industry
• A trade background or hands-on construction experience will be highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
• Confident communicator who can influence and support stakeholders at all levels
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and risk management activities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with a passion for driving a positive safety culture
• Drivers License and willingness to travel frequently for work
