Job Title: AmeriCorps Program Manger

Schedule: 40-hour workweek, usually M-F with occasional evenings and weekends

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The AmeriCorps Program Manger oversees New American Pathways AmeriCorps program. Primary job will be to oversee entire AmeriCorps program, including formalizing and implementing AmeriCorps recruitment plan, providing orientation and ongoing trainings to AmeriCorps members, reporting, and serving as primary contact with the Georgia Commission for Service and Volunteerism. Will work closely with Program Director and New American Pathways Management team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate all onsite AmeriCorps service members
- Monitor team goals and objectives to ensure timely completion of individual contractual expectations and ensure contract compliance; attend AmeriCorps events and trainings, as needed.
- Submit required reports as directed by the AmeriCorps grant
- Ensure proper documentation of program activities, attendance, participant satisfaction and participant knowledge acquisition for monitoring and evaluation
- Organize and facilitate regular team meetings, events, and professional development opportunities
- Provide training to AmeriCorps managers and supervisors on a quarterly basis, ensure support for members and assess progress/ barriers to progress.
- Work with Finance Grants Manager to complete monthly reimbursement request reports for AmeriCorps grant. This includes upkeep of a workbook, organization of backup documentation, and submission of invoices and financial records for review.
- Communicate regularly with Program Officer at Georgia Commission for Service & Volunteerism to ensure AmeriCorps grant compliance.
- Submit required monthly and quarterly performance measure reports as directed by the AmeriCorps grant.
- Recruit, interview, and work with management to hire and on-board 22 Full-time and 2 Part-time AmeriCorps service members.
- Liaise with AmeriCorps grant partners at Fugees Family and conduct quarterly visits to service sites to ensure program quality, grant compliance, and member progress.

- Performing other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Creative problem-solving ability and interest in growing a program
- Team Orientation and problem-solving approach
- Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Experience developing, supervising, and implementing a program
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working as a part of a team in a diverse, multicultural environment
- Grant writing and grant management experience preferred
- AmeriCorps/Peace Corps experience preferred
COMPENSATION
This is a full-time, salaried position with a salary range of $42,000-$54,000 based on experience. Employer contributes to medical, dental and vision insurance. Employer pays life and disability insurance. Fifteen(15) paid holidays and a generous paid time off policy. Employee has the option to contribute to 401(k).
