Our Company

NIT is a clinical-stage, T cell-focused biopharmaceutical company. Since its founding in 2014, NIT and its employees have been dedicated to advancing immuno-oncology and enhancing immunity against infectious diseases. Supported by leading experts and key opinion leaders in industry and academia, we are investigating NT-I7, our lead product candidate, as a monotherapy and in combination with other immunotherapeutics. In addition, NIT is building commercial capabilities through Endari® (prescription-grade L-glutamine oral powder), an FDA-approved therapy indicated to reduce acute complications of sickle cell disease in adults and pediatric patients 5 years of age and older.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will play a key role in maximizing relationships and creating long-term value for the company, its partners, and its patients.


Responsibilities

  • Plans and executes key BD activities (e.g., conference planning, business-to-business meetings, vendor management, etc.)
  • Monitors databases and analyzes recent developments and trends relevant to the company’s corporate strategy
  • Leads due diligence activities, including establishment and maintenance of appropriate data room(s) with the support vendors
  • Maintains and seeks opportunities for continuous improvement of corporate decks
  • Manages the development and maintenance of CDAs for external business relationships
  • Supports in-licensing activities, including identification, evaluation, and execution of potential in-license opportunities
  • Provides a supportive role in commercial operations, partnering with cross-functional teams as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master's degree in science and/or business administration preferred
  • 3+ years biopharmaceutical industry experience required; Oncology experience highly preferred
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and align teams around the achievement of common goals
  • Detail oriented with superb oral and written communication skills
  • Team player with a “can-do” attitude
  • Confident, positive, flexible, and highly organized
  • Ability to travel up to 20% required
