The Nursing Coordinator supervises clinical support staff and manages the daily flow of medical care to ensure high-quality, patient-centered primary care. They perform clinical duties including triage, high-risk case management, and oversee site safety and quality standards.
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Virginia or a compact state with experience in a primary care or FQHC environment. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and fluency in Spanish are preferred.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The Nursing Coordinator works with the Nurse Supervisor and Chief Medical Officer to facilitate access to high quality, safe, patient-centered medical care for all Neighborhood Health patients regardless of race, age, or ability to pay. The Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the supervision of the site’s clinical support staff and performs clinical duties when needed including triage and high-risk case management.
