We are looking for an experienced and commercially savvy Operations Manager - Contracts to join our Central Otago Regional Management Team.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across the region. Working alongside the Regional Director, you will provide strategic oversight of project delivery, resource planning, commercial and pre-construction performance along with team leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Leading and mentoring Project Managers and operational teams, you will play a key role in strengthening capability, fostering a high-performance culture, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
Extensive commercial construction and project delivery experience
Strong commercial acumen, including contract risk and cost management
Proven success leading and developing high-performing teams
Outstanding stakeholder and client relationship skills
Strategic thinking combined with a practical, solutions-focused approach
Excellent communication and influencing ability
A commitment to health, safety, and continuous improvement
The ability to balance operational detail with long-term business objectives
