Description

  

The Talent and Learning Manager leads organization-wide talent development initiatives that strengthen employee capability, engagement, and belonging. This role is responsible for onboarding, organizational learning, employee recognition, EMS for all, oversight of required training, and administration of professional development and tuition reimbursement programs.

Purpose: 

This position supports the National Registry by building a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and recognition. The Talent and Learning Manager ensures employees have access to meaningful onboarding, development opportunities, required training, and recognition programs that advance individual growth and organizational effectiveness.

Essential Functions: 

· Lead and continuously improve the onboarding experience to reinforce organizational culture, accelerate new hire integration, and ensure a consistent employee experience.

· Conduct organization-wide learning needs analyses and develop an annual talent and learning strategy aligned with business goals and workforce capability needs.

· Design, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs, including leadership development, professional skills training, and career growth opportunities.

· Oversee required training programs, monitor completion, maintain records, and partner with leaders to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

· Administer and enhance employee recognition programs that reinforce organizational values and strengthen engagement.

· Lead the EMS for All group to help create opportunities within the emergency medicine field for all people. 

· Manage professional development resources and oversee tuition reimbursement processes, guidelines, and reporting.

· Partner with leaders, employees, and external vendors to deliver effective, measurable, and scalable talent and learning solutions.

Requirements

  

Qualifications: 

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field required. 

· Five or more years of progressive experience in talent development, learning and development, organizational development, or a related human resources function required. 

· Experience designing and facilitating training programs, managing onboarding initiatives, and administering learning systems or training records preferred. 

· Experience supporting employee recognition and professional development programs preferred.

Competencies: 

· Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and talent development practices.

·  Ability to assess needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.

·  Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to analyze data and evaluate program effectiveness. 

· Knowledge of training compliance and recordkeeping practices.

· Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

· Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging employee experience.
