The National Association of Letter Carriers, an AFL-CIO affiliated union representing 285,000 active and retired city letter carriers employed by the U.S. Postal Service. Since our company's founding in 1889, the NALC has had a long and distinguished history of defending their rights and protecting their interests.
The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) is seeking a Temporary Office Assistant to performs clerical duties including typing, filing, scanning and completion of simple forms.
Duties:
Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
Other essential duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Office suites and Adobe PDF.
A willingness to learn new software as needed.
Good work ethic, integrity, attention to detail and to accuracy, and a strong desire to work in a stable union environment
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: 9:00am-4:30pm Monday - Friday
