Supports the Audit Department by assisting in the execution of internal audit assignments. This role involves conducting fieldwork, preparing audit documentation, and participating in audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes. The position requires close coordination with Senior Auditors to ensure that audit procedures and findings align with internal standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Auditors in conducting audit walkthroughs, document reviews, and preliminary assessments.

Gather and document data relevant to audit scopes and findings.

Perform field audits for regular and operational areas such as depots, outlets, and cashier operations.

Prepare detailed working papers and documentation to support audit findings.

Draft audit reports containing identified issues, recommendations, and corrective actions.

Immediately escalate urgent findings to the Senior Auditor for timely resolution.

Support the Audit Supervisor in presenting and discussing audit findings with auditees.

Assist in special projects such as:

Year-end and monthly inventory counts

Goods Receipt (GR)/Goods Issue (GI) of head office supplies

Perform other audit-related tasks or assignments as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications: Must be male
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field

CPA or certification in internal auditing (e.g., CIA) is an advantage

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years experience in internal or external auditing or a related accounting function

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of internal auditing standards and audit methodologies

Proficient in MS Excel and Word

Familiarity with audit documentation procedures

Skills and Competencies:

Ability to gather, organize and analyze data

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to interact professionally with various departments

Willingness to travel for field assignments
