Control Room Officer (m/f)

To support mining operations in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, Mota-Engil is sourcing analytical and detail-oriented talent to monitor real-time operational data, optimize production workflows, and ensure seamless communication across site teams.

• Educational Background: University Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, or a highly analytical/relevant field.
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in control room operations, data analytics, or production tracking (experience in mining, construction, or heavy industry is highly valued).
• Primary Function: Monitor real-time site operations, track fleet and production metrics, and transform raw operational data into actionable dashboards and management reports.

Key Competencies:

• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis, macro automation, and operational modeling.
• Proficiency in Power BI to design, build, and maintain interactive performance dashboards and KPIs.
• Capable of tracking multiple live operational streams simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Quick communication skills to relay critical alerts or dispatch updates to site supervisors and managers.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must fulfill the following organizational and statutory requirements:

• Must be a current resident of Ethiopia. Willingness to work on-site in the Benishangul-Gumuz region.
• Full bilingual proficiency in Amharic and English.
• Proven teamwork skills, high pressure tolerance, and a hardworking professional ethos.
