Why this role matters
We're building Moring.ai's India operations from the ground up — and you'll be the person who
makes it happen. This isn't a back-office HR seat. You'll be the face of the company to every
candidate, new hire, and visitor, and the engine that keeps the Chennai office running while we
scale from infancy to growth.

What you'll own
- Talent acquisition: source, screen, and close great people across engineering, product, and GTM. Own the candidate experience end to end.
- • Onboarding & people ops: design onboarding that gets new hires productive fast; run the day-to-day of HR, from policies to payroll inputs to leave and benefits.
- Office & administration: keep the Chennai office humming — facilities, vendors, supplies, travel, and everything that makes a workplace work.
Finance support: partner on expense management, invoicing, and basic finance ops alongside our finance partners.
- Culture & employer brand: be the brand of Moring as an employer — shape how candidates and employees experience us, on and offline.
- Systems & tooling: pick the HR, ops, and admin tools and build the lightweight systems and processes that scale a company from its earliest days through rapid growth.
What we're looking for
- 4-5 years of HR or people-operations experience at a high-growth SaaS company or startup.
- A dynamic, hands-on operator who's comfortable spanning HR, office ops, admin, and finance — often in the same day.
- A builder's instinct: you spot what's missing, pick the right tool, and put a system in place without waiting to be told.
- Strong communication and people skills — you're polished enough to be the company's face and warm enough to make people feel at home.
- High ownership, low ego, and a bias for action in ambiguity.
- Based in (or willing to relocate to) Chennai.
