We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our accounting operations while gaining diverse experience across payroll and accounts payable functions. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and eager to support our company's financial health and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports

- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments

- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, and payment processing

- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

- Support month-end and year-end closing activities

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

- Assist with audit preparations and respond to audit inquiries as needed

Description

The Shift Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our hospital facilities and grounds. This position is responsible for day to day maintenance, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance across the hospital campus, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and fully functional environment of care.

We are seeking a versatile, hands-on professional who can work independently and handle a wide range of maintenance tasks. By maintaining accurate records and reporting on equipment status, the Shift Engineer helps ensure long-term facility reliability and supports operational excellence throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform light electrical work, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, sheetrock and carpentry repairs, painting, and surface repairs.
  • Carry out routine and emergency maintenance tasks, including mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and system calibrations.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and hospital teams to prioritize and complete repair work efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards during all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore normal operations.
