About the Role
Hands‑on production cooking for the Community Culinary Services Department
Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and presentation
Support a warm, hospitality‑driven senior living environment
Represent the community in a friendly, professional manner
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and kitchen organization
Prepare meals that meet nutritional and dietary requirements
Follow menu cycles and prepare diets per policy and procedure
Demonstrate speed, accuracy, and efficiency in cooking
Assist with meal service and ware washing as needed
Visit residents to evaluate food quality, temperature, and presentation
Recommend improvements to enhance food service operations
Support a culture that drives resident satisfaction and occupancy
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Culinary degree preferred
Minimum 1 year of restaurant, senior living, or equivalent cooking experience
Strong hospitality mindset and commitment to resident satisfaction
