Operate electric and pneumatic hand grinders to clean pre-welded and steel parts. Assist with material movement, equipment maintenance, and adhere to strict safety guidelines within the manufacturing facility.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and working with minimal supervision.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: A Grinder operates electric or pneumatic hand grinders, as well as other heavy manufacturing equipment to clean pre-welded parts, welded parts, and steel parts. This position adheres to all safety guidelines. Grinders work under the direction of the Production Leader and other manufacturing leaders.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Physical activity includes walking, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling, bending, reaching above shoulders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. If work demands require lifting more than 50 pounds, the use of a mechanical device or initiation of a two-person lift is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Perform activities in a well-lighted and well-ventilated area. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to above normal noise levels, electrical equipment, and chemicals.
