The intern will analyze transportation performance of wafer carriers (FOUPs) within a semiconductor manufacturing environment using statistical techniques. They will identify factors influencing transportation time and develop insights to enhance automated transport performance.
Candidates should be pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics. Foundational knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and familiarity with SQL or Python is required.

Data Analysis on Front Opening Unified Pod (FOUP) Transportation Time
This project focuses on analysing transportation performance within a semiconductor manufacturing environment, where automated systems move wafer carriers known as Front Opening Unified Pods across the fabrication facility.
The intern will undertake a structured project involving data exploration, statistical analysis, and visualisation to understand transportation behaviour in a complex production system. Emphasis is placed on learning how large-scale operational datasets are analysed to derive insights related to system performance.
Interns demonstrating strong learning ability and project outcomes may be considered for future internship or full-time opportunities, subject to business needs and evaluation outcomes.
This project contributes to improved understanding of automated material transport systems, enabling data-informed insights that may enhance operational efficiency within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
