Lead end-to-end financial operations, including project finance, budgeting, and day-to-day accounting oversight. Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership to provide financial insights and supervise the studio's accounting staff.
Requires 7+ years of progressive finance experience, preferably in professional services, and a bachelor's degree in a related field. A CPA designation and experience with CMAP or similar project management financial systems are highly valued.
MGA is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial operations, bringing rigour, insight, and leadership to how we plan, track, and report across the studio.
This is a senior, hands-on role that goes well beyond traditional accounting. You'll lead our financial function end-to-end: overseeing project finance, managing day-to-day accounting operations, strengthening systems and internal controls, and serving as a key strategic partner to the principals and senior leadership. You'll directly supervise an Accountant responsible for bookkeeping and payroll, and you'll bring clarity to complex financial information that helps the whole team make better, faster decisions.
This is a pivotal role in how MGA operates. As Finance Manager, you'll bring structure and clarity to a complex, project-driven studio, enabling better decisions, healthier project margins, and stronger outcomes across the business. You'll have real influence over how we run, and real ownership over the financial health of the studio.
