The associate will manage core accounting processes including monthly close, treasury operations, and financial reporting across multiple portfolio companies. They will also oversee the full accounts payable and receivable cycles and optimize finance technology systems.
Candidates need 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP and hands-on experience in treasury and close processes. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, and a CPA certification is preferred.

This role supports multiple MFO Ventures portfolio companies, including Arbiter and SlateRx, providing broad exposure to high-growth businesses across healthcare and technology.
We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Associate with a strong foundation in accounting operations, financial close, and treasury to support the finance function across Arbiter, SlateRx, and the broader MFO Ventures portfolio. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to multiple high-growth healthcare and technology businesses, each with unique operating models and finance needs. The position provides a unique opportunity to build broad accounting expertise while partnering directly with experienced finance leaders across a diverse portfolio of growing companies.
Working closely with finance leadership across the portfolio, the Finance and Accounting Associate will own core accounting processes, including the monthly close, treasury management, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, a high degree of accuracy, and a commitment to producing reliable financial information. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, is comfortable balancing multiple priorities, proactively identifies and resolves issues, and maintains strong internal controls while supporting the evolving needs of a growing portfolio.
