SUMMARY: Member Services Specialists are responsible for delivering high-quality customer service experience through the efficient onboarding and support of prospective, current, and former members. This position performs entry-level duties supporting members with routine inquiries, transactions, and services under direct supervision.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides front-line support to members via phone, email, and in-person visits.
Handles basic issues and refers to more complex matters to higher-level staff.
Possesses a developing working knowledge of Association programs and systems.
Assists members with basic transactions such as membership applications, renewals, payments, and services offered.
Refers to complex questions or policy issues to senior staff.
Understands how to look up, update and maintain accurate member records in the Association Management System (AMS).
Maintains company established filing and record keeping systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
0–2 years of customer service or administrative experience.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to learn AMS software quickly.
Must be able to legally work in the United States without sponsorship.
OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge.

Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with an hour for lunch 37.50 hour work week. Overtime is not required and is authorized with prior supervisor approval.
