Customer Success Manager | Full Time | Temporary Contract (1 year) | Berlin, Germany
Have you ever wondered: what is the weather forecast tomorrow?
As 140 million Google Search results show, this is one of the most frequently asked questions in the world. Weather can have a huge impact on all of our lives, both personally and professionally, so this is why, here at Meteomatics, we focus on the processing and provision of high-quality weather data, and software to clients across the world.
But why stop there? Better weather forecasting needs even more accurate data sources. Thus, we developed our own weather drones, called Meteodrones, to collect missing data from the lower atmosphere and we are the first company to fly a network of weather drones operationally.
Now, let´s talk about you…
As a Customer Success Manager, your primary focus is driving customer retention, renewals, and growth across your portfolio of accounts.
You will build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders, helping them maximize the value of our products while identifying opportunities for expansion through upselling and cross-selling.
To succeed in this role, you will bring proven Customer Success or Account Management experience in a technical B2B environment, ideally within SaaS, software, data, or another technology-driven industry.
You are customer-focused, commercially minded, and comfortable translating technical solutions into business value. While previous meteorological knowledge is an advantage, it is not required—we provide comprehensive product, industry, and process training as part of your onboarding.
You enjoy working autonomously, solving customer challenges, and collaborating across Sales, Product, Engineering, and other teams to continuously improve the customer experience. Innovation is one of our core values, and we encourage everyone to embrace new ideas and leverage AI to improve efficiency, customer outcomes, and the way we work.
Your responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include:
Managing renewals
Driving expansion
Learning our market, our customers, and our products
Managing a growing international portfolio of customers from multiple industries
Working with our sales team to develop new strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
Working with our sales, accounting, and technical teams to optimise our internal processes
Your qualifications
You have a "can-do" attitude and are highly motivated to help us become one of the world's leading private weather technology companies.
You have several years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, Account Management, or a similar customer-facing role within a technical B2B environment (ideally SaaS, software, data, or technology).
You have a strong commercial mindset with experience managing renewals, driving customer adoption, and identifying growth opportunities.
You are comfortable discussing technical products with customers and translating technical capabilities into business value.
You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and enjoy working in a consultative role.
You understand the application of AI in today's business environment and can demonstrate practical experience using AI to improve your work.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office and modern productivity tools.
You are analytical, pragmatic, and enjoy solving complex customer challenges.
You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with cross-functional teams.
You are fluent in German and English. Additional languages are an advantage.
