Provide psychiatric care and medication management for consumers within the Emergency Psychiatric Services setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate patient progress and facilitate appropriate dispositions to home or hospitalization.
Must possess a valid Tennessee Registered Nurse or LPN license and be proficient in phlebotomy and injections. Requires a clean motor vehicle report, background check, and personal automobile insurance.

Mental Health Cooperative, Inc. (MHC) was formed in 1993 to serve individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Since then, we have expanded our services to children and adolescents with severe emotional disorders across Middle and East Tennessee.
Our sole purpose is to support and treat those challenged with serious mental illness and poverty. Although based out of Nashville, we serve several communities across middle and East Tennessee with satellite offices in Antioch, Gallatin, Dickson, Columbia, Cleveland, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, Cookeville, Chattanooga, and Memphis.

Job Title: RN or LPN, Child & Youth Emergency Psychiatric Services (Night Shift)
Schedule: 7pm – 7am Wednesday, Thursday, Friday / Thursday, Friday, Saturday (swing shift)
JOB SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN)/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports the licensed physician or Advanced Practice Nurse, as well as the overall health-care team, in providing psychiatric care to consumers in Emergency Psychiatric Services. The RN works in close collaboration with the team to evaluate the patient's plan of care and progress toward treatment goals.
