Exciting Opportunity at MSK! Seeking a CT Technologist to join our MITS team. This site delivers MSK’s world‑class cancer care in a setting thoughtfully designed to support patients and their families. If you’re passionate about high-quality imaging and patient-centered care, we invite you to join our exceptional radiology team!
Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures in support of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures on patients of all age groups with minimal supervision.
Operate CT equipment on hybrid imaging scanners (PET/CT and SPECT/CT) and associated equipment safely, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Explain imaging procedures to patients and monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams.
Administer contrast media (IV and/or oral) following established protocols.
Conduct imaging in compliance with departmental protocols and quality standards.
Accurately enter documentation into all MSK and Radiology systems.
Support general radiology procedures as needed.
Associate’s degree / Certified Vocational Training or Graduate from a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
Minimum of 2 years of CT experience preferred, including experience with GE and Siemens imaging systems.
New York Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography.
IV Certification required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
