Job overview

We are seeking motivated and passionate Cybersecurity Analysts to join our cybersecurity team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Sentinel, Defender suite, and Intune, while developing skills in threat detection and incident response.

Responsibilities and Duties

Threat Monitoring & Incident Response:

• Monitor security alerts and logs from Microsoft Sentinel and Defender suite (for endpoint, for cloud apps, for office 356)

• Perform triage, analysis, and escalation of security incidents

• Investigate suspicious activities and potential threats

• Document incidents and contribute to reporting

• Assist in improving detection and response processes

Security Engineering & Automation:

• Develop and tune analytic rules in Microsoft Sentinel

• Create and maintain playbooks and automation workflows

• Support continuous improvement of detection use cases

Cloud & Endpoint Security:

• Support monitoring and configuration of Microsoft Defender suite

• Work with Microsoft Intune for device compliance and security policies

• Assist in vulnerability identification and remediation

Collaboration & Reporting:

• Work with SOC, IT, and security teams

• Contribute to dashboards and security reporting

• Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field

• 1+ year of experience in SOC, cybersecurity, or IT security

• Basic understanding of SIEM, incident response, and networking

Preferred but not required:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender suite, and Intune

• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS frameworks

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical mindset

• Willingness to learn and grow

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work in a 24/7 SOC environment
