The phlebotomist is responsible for performing blood and specimen collection procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to regulatory standards. They also conduct pre- and post-test counselling and maintain accurate administrative records of patient information.
Candidates must hold a Registered/Enrolled Nurse qualification or a Certificate in Phlebotomy Techniques. A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience post-qualification is required.
