Key Responsibilities

Ensure planning and organizing the Digital directorate: 

• Creating the Digital directorate annual strategy.
• Ensure efficient and updated structure.
• Creating, monitoring, and controlling the Digital directorate annual budget.
• Monitoring and controlling the Customers annual plans (offering, budget and resources) 
• Monitoring and controlling the Digital unites annual objectives.
• Documenting and monitoring the Digital directorate policies, guidelines and best practices.

Managing Cairo office:

• Creating, monitoring, and controlling Cairo office annual budget.
• Ensuring healthy environment. 
• Manpower management.
• Ensuring the Digital directorate efficiency:
• Ensure smooth and efficient Workflow across all Digital directorate units and offices.
• Setting and monitoring the Digital directorate overall KPIs and KPIs per customer.

Ensuring resources efficiency:

• Monitoring the workload capacity across all units.
• Monitoring the utilization of the available systems, tools, subscriptions… etc., and action accordingly.
• Keeping up to date with the most efficient tools/systems in the market to improve the team productivity.
• Collaborating with the unit heads to improve the alignment and cooperation inside the one team through activating and tracking the team’s meetings to achieve the maximum creativity & productivity.

Managing and controlling the operations:

• Managing the communication across the Digital directorate units. 
• Managing the communication with the other departments to handle the Digital directorate requirements.
• Managing the emergency situations to ensure projects / tasks implementation on time.
• Monitoring the planned deliverables to ensure execution on time.
• Monitoring the Social accounts to ensure the commitment with the approved guidelines.
• Managing the "Postproduction Traffic" to ensure the deliverables for each customer.
• Ensuring the Facebook Deal execution (daily notes, weekly reports and contribute to the content calendar planning).
• Monitoring the monetization best (daily notes and weekly reports).
• Monitoring the Clipping Rules (daily notes and weekly reports).

Digital products management:

• Snapchat: managing Snapchat channel to continually enhance MBC presence and revenue. 
• MBC3:  managing MBC3 digital accounts (social media and website) to achieve the channel objectives. 
• MBC.net: managing the updates of the mbc.net home page and channel pages.

Monitoring the Digital directorate performance through efficient reporting system:

• Digital directorate Overall Performance: 
• Quarter report for the Group top management.
• Weekly and Monthly reports for the Digital directorate management. 
• Monthly report for each client. 
• Individuals KPIs: monthly report to track the individuals KPIs.
• Budget Status: monthly report to monitor the budget across all offices.
• Revenue: weekly and monthly report to track the revenue across all streams 
• Agencies usage: monthly report to track the agencies usage vs quota.
• Ad hoc reports: creating any other report when requested.

Supporting the Digital directorate units:

• Digital rights: sharing the digital rights of the new shows with the units based on the documented info on the BCM
• Metadata: sharing the metadata of any show when requested based on the documented info on the BCM
• Sharing episodes (Dalet access): sharing the new episodes in advance with units if there is an URGENT need, but after getting approval from the requester unit head 
• Teams supporting providing the needed support regarding any issue related to the CMSs, Handling the creation of the new accounts on the CMSs, providing the needed advice regarding copyright issues
• Ensuring continuous improvement:
• Quarterly competitive Digital analysis to identify the market trends with recommendations to maximize the success opportunities.
• Collaborating with the unit heads to have a monthly workshop.
• Encouraging the creativity and productivity through rewarding system (Employee of the month).
• Annual survey to get the customer’s feedback and improve the performance accordingly.

Problem Solving

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in mass communication or any other relevant position in Media. 

 

Experience:

• 7 - 9 years’ experience in digital media.
