The pharmacy technician assists pharmacists in fulfilling prescription orders while maintaining accurate patient profiles and insurance information. They also provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries regarding drug coverage, pricing, and pharmacy services.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with previous pharmacy experience and medical setting knowledge preferred. Candidates must hold an active pharmacy license or be eligible to obtain one within 90 days.
