  • Calculate and administer indemnity and medical benefits in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with members, medical providers, vendors, and legal counsel to support return-to-work efforts, manage litigation, and resolve claims efficiently.
  • Complete required filings and reporting, maintain accurate documentation, and provide guidance to program participants on claim processes and best practices.

What you Bring:

  • Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, regulations, and claims management practices, including investigation, evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Understanding of medical terminology, occupational health, and risk management principles.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document claim activity and produce reports.
  • Familiarity with MMA Workers’ Compensation Fund programs and proficiency with relevant computer and claims systems, combined with strong organizational, prioritization, and relationship-building abilities.

Desired Experience and Training

College degree in Business or a related field or equivalent combination of professional experience. Preferably one to three years’ experience handling workers' compensation claims or similar experience. Professional development, including AIC, ARM or CPCU desirable.
