The Used Car Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing daily showroom operations, including vehicle valuations, sales processes, and staff performance management. They must ensure high standards of customer service, maintain FCA compliance, and drive department targets through effective team coaching.
Candidates must have prior experience in a premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and team leadership. A full UK driving licence is essential, along with the ability to manage financial performance and understand finance and insurance product regulations.

Leeds Nissan
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £70k OTE (£45k- £55k basic DOE plus bonus)
Hours: 44 Hours - Mon to Fri 9.00am to 6.00pm (one late finish to 7pm and a day off midweek), Sat 9.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday 11.00am to 3.00pm (rota basis)
A rare and exciting opportunity has become available at Leeds Nissan as a Used Car Sales Manager. Have you got what it takes to lead an established department in an electrifying franchise? If so, we would love to hear from you! The successful candidate will receive an industry leading remuneration package with access to in-house training.
As Used Car Sales Manager, you will act as a role model for customer service excellence for the team, always leading by example. You will develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers and coach and motivate the team to do so too. You will be reporting into the General Manager. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
You will oversee the day to day running of the showroom including vehicle valuations and sales; supervising the vehicle journey from workshop prep right through to imaging and showroom presentation. You will work alongside the divisional buyer, dedicated prep Technicians, detailers and photography team so that you can deliver marketing standards.
Responsibilities
You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You will be able to demonstrate experience in leading a highly motivated team and know how to get the best out of each team member.
Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address any shortfalls promptly is a must. You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations and have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate a sale. Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
