The Apprentice Technician is responsible for diagnosing and performing vehicle repairs and maintenance according to factory and dealership standards. They must communicate progress to trainers and management while documenting all work on repair orders.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 18 months of automotive shop experience. A valid California driver's license and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles are required.
We are looking for a candidate that can thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment. The Apprentice Technician is responsible forfor diagnosing and performing vehicle repairs and maintenance work as assigned; and in accordance with factory and dealership specifications and standards.
The Apprentice Technician is also responsible for communicating with the technician trainer as well as the management team and service consultants at all points of service repair and about recommended services. As an Apprentice Technician, you will embark on a journey to become a skilled technician within our dealership. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will learn the ins and outs of automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. This role offers hands-on experience and comprehensive training to kick-start your career in the automotive industry.
The Apprentice Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $28.00.
